This is a preliminary bibliography of ACM SIGAda Ada Letters, covering (incompletely) 1985 -- date. It also includes coverage of a few Ada conferences whose proceedings were not published as issues of Ada Letters.

The initial draft was extracted from the ACM Computing Archive CD ROM for the 1980s, with manual corrections and additions. It was then augmented with entries derived from the IEEE Inspec (1988--1997), OCLC, UnCover, and Compendex databases.
At version 1.08, another 237 entries were added from an OCLC Article1st and Contents1st database search. Regrettably, this database does not record final page numbers of journal articles, so there are many page ranges of the form 123--?? in this bibliography. Also, at the time of the search, no OCLC data was available for 1995 journal issues. This situation persists in May 1996; the few 1995 entries available have been obtained from the UnCover database.
At version 3.00, data from the ACM Portal (available only for 1985--2003) was merged in.
BibTeX citation tags are uniformly chosen as name:year:abbrev, where name is the family name of the first author or editor, year is a 4-digit number, and abbrev is a 3-letter condensation of important title words. Citation tags were automatically generated by software developed for the BibNet Project.
In this bibliography, entries are sorted in publication order, using the ``bibsort -byvolume'' utility.
The checksum field above contains a CRC-16 checksum as the first value, followed by the equivalent of the standard UNIX wc (word count) utility output of lines, words, and characters. This is produced by Robert Solovay's checksum utility.
