This is a COMPLETE bibliography of the Electronic Journal of Linear Algebra, published by the International Linear Algebra Society (ILAS). Publication began with volume 1 in 1996, and articles appear irregularly in issue-less volumes, usually one or two per year. Articles are almost entirely in English, but at least two are in French. English title translations are supplied in such entries.

The journal has Web sites at

http://repository.uwyo.edu/ela http://repository.uwyo.edu/ela/all_issues.html

Those locations replace the original sites at

http://hermite.cii.fc.ul.pt/iic/ela/ http://www.math.technion.ac.il/iic/ela/

At version 1.01, the COMPLETE year coverage looked like this:

     1996 ( 6) 2003 ( 25) 2010 ( 69)

     1997 ( 2) 2004 ( 30) 2011 ( 79)

     1998 ( 18) 2005 ( 31) 2012 ( 100)

     1999 ( 8) 2006 ( 28) 2013 ( 61)

     2000 ( 22) 2007 ( 38) 2014 ( 61)

     2001 ( 12) 2008 ( 45) 2015 ( 3)

     2002 ( 24) 2009 ( 65)

Total entries: 727

Each entry has an article URL that leads to a downloadable article PDF file, but there are as yet no DOI assignments in this journal.

The main Web site regrettably omits article page ranges, but individual article Web pages, and the tables of contents at the site in Portugal, have them, The Web site also omits accents on many author names; where possible, accents and non-Latin letters have been restored. Where possible, data have been merged in from other sources to supply the missing page numbers.

Data for this bibliography were initially obtained from the publisher Web sites, and then entries were merged from searches in the MathSciNet database, which supplied most of the missing page ranges. The remaining 40 entries without pages values were filled in by examination of the article PDF files, so all entries now contain correct page ranges. A page-gap analysis of this bibliography verifies that there are no missing entries or overlapping or inconsistent page ranges.

Sadly, the merger also revealed hundreds of discrepancies in authors and titles that had to be resolved by consulting the original page images in their PDF files. In most cases, but not all, the publisher Web data disagree with the page images, and the MathSciNet data are usually more reliable. Given that this is an electronic journal, it is regrettable that so many inconsistencies are present in the Web publication metadata, and that page ranges are absent.

Numerous errors in the sources noted above have been corrected. Spelling has been verified with the UNIX spell and GNU ispell programs using the exception dictionary stored in the companion file with extension .sok.

BibTeX citation tags are uniformly chosen as name:year:abbrev, where name is the family name of the first author or editor, year is a 4-digit number, and abbrev is a 3-letter condensation of important title words. Citation tags were automatically generated by software developed for the BibNet Project.

In this bibliography, entries are sorted in publication order within each journal, according to the order at the publisher Web site. That could be done by `bibsort byvolume' were it not for missing page-number data.

The checksum field above contains a CRC-16 checksum as the first value, followed by the equivalent of the standard UNIX wc (word count) utility output of lines, words, and characters. This is produced by Robert Solovay's checksum utility.
