/u/sy/beebe/tex/dvi/00fixme.txt, Fri Feb 23 12:54:43 1990 Edit by Nelson H.F. Beebe The 2.10 DVI driver sources are frozen while 3.0 is being developed. This file notes problems in the 2.10 drivers that WILL NOT BE REPAIRED IN THE FROZEN SOURCES, but users may wish to apply patches locally. [23-Feb-1990] A user reported being hit by a bug which was fixed early in the 3.0 development, but still exists in the 2.10 sources; in readpxl.h, there is a loop that terminates at LASTPXLCHAR. That constant is defined in gendefs.h to be 255, but in readpxl.h, it should be replaced by the numeric value 127 (255 IS needed in the other places LASTPXLCHAR is referenced). So few people are using pxl format any more, than this bug took a year to resurface.
