This file is part of the theorem package. ----------------------------------------- \def\filedate{92/08/30} Copyright (C) 1989-1992 by Frank Mittelbach. All rights reserved. IMPORTANT NOTICE: You are not allowed to change this readme file. For distribution of unchanged and changed versions see readme.mz. You should get the following files: 1) Styles for the new theorem enviroment implementation: theorem.doc Main style file with macros for the new theorem implementation. 2) Sub styles for the theorem style option: thb.doc `theorem-break' style. thc.doc `theorem-change' style. thcb.doc `theorem-change-break' style. thp.doc `theorem-plain' style. thm.doc `theorem-margin' style. thmb.doc `theorem-margin-break' style. 3) Utility files: install.mz2 This is the installation script that will produce the executable files in this package and the driver files for the documentation. readme.mz File that describes distribution restrictions and gives a short overview about other distributions from Mainz. readme.mz2 This file. To produce the executable files please run install.mz2 through LaTeX or TeX, i.e., say latex install.mz2 or whatever is necessary to run process a file with LaTeX on your system. This will generate all necessary files. If you already have older versions of the files, the script will ask whether or not you want to overwrite those versions. Note, that the script calls docstrip.tex internally which is distributed in the doc package (MZ0). This script will produce the following files: theorem.sty The theorem style option for LaTeX. theorem.drv The driver file for producing the documentation. thb.sty Sub-styles used by theorem.sty to implement various thc.sty theorem layouts. thcb.sty thm.sty thmb.sty thp.sty To produce the documentation run the corresponding driver files through LaTeX. You are allowed to change the driver files to get a special layout, etc. To get an index and history listing run the idx and glo files through the program MAKEINDEX. MAKEINDEX should be part of every LaTeX installation. Please note that you need to specify a style file for MAKEINDEX: gind.ist for the index file (result should be named *.ind) gglo.ist for the history file (result should be named *.gls) Sample invocation for Unix: makeindex -s gind.ist theorem makeindex -s gglo.ist -o theorem.gls theorem.glo The \fileversion and \filedate lines below are generated so that you can easily check differences to your version by using diff etc. install.mz2: \filedate{92/08/30} readme.mz: \filedate{92/07/07} readme.mz2: \filedate{92/08/30} thb.doc: \fileversion{v2.1b} thb.doc: \filedate{89/10/28} thc.doc: \fileversion{v1.1b} thc.doc: \filedate{89/10/28} thcb.doc: \fileversion{v2.1b} thcb.doc: \filedate{89/10/28} theorem.doc: \fileversion{v2.1c} theorem.doc: \filedate{92/06/22} thm.doc: \fileversion{v2.1b} thm.doc: \filedate{89/10/28} thmb.doc: \fileversion{v2.1c} thmb.doc: \filedate{90/02/17} thp.doc: \fileversion{v2.1b} thp.doc: \filedate{89/10/28}
