The command name \bm is derived from Michael Spivak's support for the MathTime fonts in plain TeX, but the implementation here is completely different and this package is not restricted to MathTime. It has been tested with the Standard TeX Computer Modern set and with Lucida as well as with MathTime. Installation ============ Following normal LaTeX convention the package is distributed as a documented source bm.dtx and an installation file bm.ins. Run TeX or LaTeX on bm.ins and the package file bm.sty will be generated. This should be placed in a directory in the TEXINPUT path. Further documentation and examples may then be obtained by running LaTeX on the source file, typically by a command such as latex bm.dtx This will produce bm.dvi which may be viewed in the normal way.
