Oenglish.doc : just for compatibility for LaTeX 2.09, see frenglish.doc Oenglish.sty : just for compatibility for LaTeX 2.09, see frenglish.sty ===> renamed by the english option of the Makefile to english.doc and english.sty. Default option is "noenglish". epreuve.sty : write \'EPREUVE on each PostScript page. frabbrev.tex : the french abbreviations file (a 8-bit ISO-Latin-1 binary file) f8abbrev.tex : the same file. frabbrev.850 : the same file for PC code-page 850 input encoding. (then to be rename frabbrev.tex) f7abbrev.tex : the same file in full ASCII 7-bit. Normaly not usable asis. Specially useful if your keyboard isn't ISO-Latin-1 to recreate frabbrev.tex (look at kb2lex.tex file in the main dir) fenglish.doc : the following file with its comments fenglish.sty : a minimum set of things for an english like language (i.e. the language used in LaTeX) french.bug : contains all known bugs at the date enclosed. french.chk : a (La)TeX code for checking any incompatibilty with the french style french.dmy : a (La)TeX code to run a french doc. without any french style french.doc : the code with its comments and the Copyright french.sty : the code (may run alone but normally uses other files such as:) french.ldf : the code used by babel to load the french package frhyphex.tex : the french hyphenation exceptions master coding to load the appropriate file as following (look at it): f7hyphex.tex : the french hyphenation exceptions file in 7-bit.(OT1 encoding) f8hyphex.tex : the french hyphenation exceptions file in 8-bit (T1 encoding) f8hyphex.850 : the french hyphenation exceptions file in 8-bit (PC 850 c-p) fridx1.ist : index style for Makeindex (makeindex -s fridx1.ist) kbconfig.tex : the code which is used to read & understand keyboard.dat keyboard.dat : the file in which you specify the special keys of your keyboard (this is of course a 8-bit binary file) or can (look at it) load the appropriate one of the following 2 files : keyboard.mac : file called for Mac systems input encoding. 8-bit file. keyboard.next : file called for Next systems input encoding. 8-bit file. keyboard.850 : file called for PC code-page 850 input encoding. 8-bit file. language.dat : the configuration file for languages. pmfrench.sty : "Poor Man French" style. Calls french.sty but run it in a "poor-man" way (e.g. in any installation not completely configured for French).
