The titling package gives you control over the typesetting of the
\maketitle command, and makes the \title, \author and \date information
permanantly available.

    The distribution consists of the following files:
README (this file)
titling.dtx
titling.ins

    The distribution is provided under the terms of the LaTeX
Project Public License (LPPL).

    To install the package:
o run: latex titling.ins (which will generate titling.sty)
o run: latex titling.dtx
o For an index, run: makeindex -s gind.ist titling
o run: latex titling.dtx
o Print titling.dvi for a hardcopy of the user manual 
o Move titling.sty to a location where LaTeX will find it.
