iiddmmkkccoohh -- Command

Build a new kernel
iiddmmkkccoohh [ -oo _k_e_r_n_e_l_f_i_l_e ]

The command iiddmmkkccoohh creates a new bootable kernel. The kernel incorporates
any changes that you may have made with the commands iiddeennaabbllee, iiddttuunnee, or
ccoohhttuunnee. For details on how to use these commands, see their entries in the
Lexicon. The changes you have made will take effect as soon as you boot
the kernel that iiddmmkkccoohh creates.

By default, iiddmmkkccoohh writes the new kernel into file /ccoohheerreenntt. The option -
oo tells iiddmmkkccoohh to write the kernel into file kkeerrnneellffiillee instead.
