The command  llooggiinn records in  file $HHOOMMEE/.llaassttllooggiinn the date  and time you
last logged in.  llooggiinn displays the information the next time you log in.

If this file  does not exist llooggiinn assumes that  you are a new user, and by
default   executes   the  file   /eettcc/ddeeffaauulltt/wweellccoommee.   This  provides   a
``friendly'' environment  for users  who are  using COHERENT for  the first
time.
