PPAAGGEERR -- Environmental Variable

Specify Output Filter
PPAAGGEERR=``_c_o_m_m_a_n_d _o_p_t_i_o_n_s''

The environmental variable PPAAGGEERR directs programs such as mmssggss, mmaaiill and
others to ``pipe'' their output into the _c_o_m_m_a_n_d specified as the value of
PPAAGGEERR. For example, the following sets up /bbiinn/ssccaatt as the desired output
filter and passes a command line option to it to specify that the output
screen has 20 lines.

    export PAGER="exec /bin/scat -l20"
