You must have either JDK 1.0.2 or 1.1 beta 3
installed.

Copy extends.zip to your java.home directory,
typically:

	c:/java

Unzip extends.zip.

Be sure your CLASSPATH environment variable
includes:

	 c:/java/src

And your path environment variable should
include:

	 c:/java/bin

To start Jide type:

	java extensions.awt.Jide

The source is completely documented and
you can run javadoc on it.

Jide and its source files are freeware.
I've only copyrighted

	extensions/util/ContainerLite.java
	extensions/util/Compare.java

Hope you enjoy precolating with Jide!
If I have time I'll continue improving it
with JDK 1.1 and JavaBeans.
